Many of our gatherings and activities are suspended until further notice.
All our Sunday services will stream online, but we are running some services in person as well. Please visit our home page to find our in person dates and our link to stream online services. Please contact Rachel if you would like to check if an activity is available.
Throughout the week, we have a variety of groups meeting up. We’d love to see you at one!
Noah’s Ark is a toddler group held at Hickmott Road and we welcome all carers and their 0-5 year old children. There are Bible stories, singing, crafts, play and refreshments.
Come along from 9.45 – 11.15 a.m. on Wednesday or Thursday, during term time. There’s no waiting list and the group is free of charge.
Children aged 3-11 years are welcome at Sunday School. All children meet together, under the leadership and supervision of an adult team to pray, sing and do Bible quizzes before splitting into age-specific classes. Within these, there are Bible stories, activity sheets, and optional memory verses to learn.

During the summer holidays events take place in Endcliffe Park from 11;00 – 1;00 pm. The programme will include crafts, games and competitions for children aged reception to year 6. Mums and carers with younger children are welcome to join with others in a creche area.
The dates are published each year before the start of the school holidays in the events section of this website. A banner is also displayed on the railings of the Park.
No registration is required. Just come along and join in the fun.
Youth At Wycliffe Night (YAWN) is for those of secondary school age. We meet on Fridays during term time from 7.30 – 9.30 p.m, usually at Hickmott Road.
We study the Bible to see what God has to say to young people in the 21st century. We also have as much fun as possible, with games, crafts, quizzes and food.
A discipleship group for those in school years 7 to 9.
The group meets, during term time on alternate Sunday mornings, during the normal service time.
Rachel Greenslade and Sangeeta Bhangra are the group leaders.
We meet on Sundays during University term time at 4.15 – 5.45 p.m. Usually at Wycliffe Church but venue varies – please check.
Join us for tea, toast, cake, chat, prayer and Bible teaching for everyday life. Our aim for the group is to support students during their time at University so that they would be “rooted and built up in Christ” (Colossians 2:6-7).
International students are welcome at all of our meetings and we also run special events for international students during the academic year. These give you the opportunity to meet British people, experience British culture, or learn about Christianity.
Each September we run international food, games and music evenings to welcome new students. Throughout the year we also have occasional events based on British cultural events or seasonal themes.
We also offer short ‘Christianity Explained’ courses for students who would like to find out more about Jesus Christ and the Bible.
Women at Wycliffe
Women at Wycliffe is an opportunity for the ladies of the church to meet to encourage one another, especially in the matter of living out their faith, and to hold evangelistic events to which they can invite their non-Christian friends. Women at Wycliffe meets approximately six times a year. It is coordinated by a small group of lady members of the church.
Upcoming meetings will be indicated on the events calendar.
We meet, at Hickmott Road, on the second and fourth Monday of each month, from 2:15 p.m.
We study the Bible together and support and pray for each other. A creche can be arranged if required.
Please check the events calendar for the date of the next meeting.
This is an informal and relaxed drop-in for those of all ages who would appreciate friendship, support and encouragement. It is especially for those who experience loneliness, exclusion, troubled thoughts, anxiety or who struggle with social interaction.
Currently we meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Hickmott Road.
We provide a coffee bar, opportunity to talk, a library of useful resources, a quiet room, and a range of optional activities.
At 4 p.m. we have ‘Pause for Thought’ which is a short Bible reading on a helpful theme.
No charge is made for this activity and the refreshments are free.
Senior citizens and their friends are welcome on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 2.30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday Club is held in the lower hall of the church building on Hickmott Road with stairlift access.
The meeting begins with drinks and chat and a light-hearted quiz, before we sing, pray, hear a Bible reading and listen to a short Christian message. Following this, afternoon tea is served: a good chance to discuss the message or catch up with friends. There are usually between 20 and 30 in attendance, and the group loves welcoming newcomers. Some transport is available if required.
