Our Sunday morning services will take place online. If you would like to listen to this please contact Rachel and we can tell you how to do this. MP3 recordings will be available on our website as well.
- 10.30am Morning service (with crèche and Sunday school) at King Edwards Upper School
- 4.15pm Student Time (see separate section)
- 6.00pm Evening service at Hickmott Road
*During Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays, we do not have a Sunday School during the morning service but there is a crèche available for children aged five and under.
This is celebrated on the first Sunday evening and the third Sunday morning of each month. The Communion service concludes our time of worship on these occasions.
Refreshments are served after the morning service.
All of our Sunday morning and evening sermons are recorded and uploaded to our sermon archive.
KES is fully accessible, including a lift between floors, and has an accessible toilet.
The Hickmott Road building has stair-lifts connecting the two levels, and an accessible toilet.
Those who use a hearing aid are advised to use the ’T’ mode within the worship area.
We produce large print versions of the hymns for those who are partially sighted or who find it difficult to read words from a screen.
At Hickmott Road, the foyer is separated from the main congregation by double glazing; the sermon is relayed into the foyer via speakers. It is an ideal place to sit with noisy children, whilst keeping you involved in the service.
Our accessible toilet has baby-changing facilities and there are a number of places where mothers can feed their baby in privacy. A suitable area is also available at KES.
Crèche (ages 0-3)
Children aged under three are welcome in the Crèche during both morning services.Simply bring them downstairs during the third hymn, or as announced. You are welcome to stay with your child or leave them with one of the team.
Sunday School (ages 3-11)
Children aged 3-11 years are welcome at Sunday School. All children meet together to pray and sing before splitting into age-specific classes. Within these, there are Bible stories, activity sheets, and optional memory verses to learn. All of our Sunday School Teachers are committed church members and have undergone the necessary DBS checks.
Please collect your children at the end of the service.
