Due to Covid restrictions changes have been made to our usual activities
- 10.30am Morning service: Sign up to attend in person at Hickmott road or available on Zoom or YouTube
- 4.15pm Student Time (see separate section)
- 6.00pm Evening service: Sign up to attend in person at Hickmott road or available on Zoom or YouTube
This is celebrated on the first Sunday evening and the third Sunday morning of each month. The Communion service concludes our time of worship on these occasions.
All of our Sunday morning and evening sermons are recorded and uploaded to our sermon archive.
The Hickmott Road building has stair-lifts connecting the two levels, and an accessible toilet.
Those who use a hearing aid are advised to use the ’T’ mode within the worship area.
We produce large print versions of the hymns for those who are partially sighted or who find it difficult to read words from a screen.
Our accessible toilet has baby-changing facilities and there are a number of places where mothers can feed their baby in privacy.
Kids on Sundays
Currently our services welcome families, the foyer area is separated from the main congregation by double glazing; the sermon is relayed into the foyer via speakers. It is an ideal place to sit with noisy children, whilst keeping you involved in the service.
There is also an area downstairs where there are toys, colouring and plenty of activities to keep children entertained whilst parents listen in to the service.
Unfortunately we are unable currently to offer our usual Sunday children’s activities (Crèche and Sunday School). We are looking to restart these in the autumn. Our children’s midweek activities are available during term time.
Crèche (ages 0-5)
Children aged under five are welcome in the Crèche during the morning service. Simply bring them downstairs during the third hymn, or as announced. You are welcome to stay with your child or leave them with one of the team.
Sunday School (ages 5-11)
Children aged 5-11 years are welcome at Sunday School. All children meet together to pray and sing before splitting into age-specific classes. Within these, there are Bible stories, activity sheets, and optional memory verses to learn. All of our Sunday School Teachers are committed church members and have undergone the necessary DBS checks.
Please collect your children at the end of the service.

Students on Sundays
Restrictions permitting we hope to offer both of these activities to students in September.
Join us for tea, toast, cake, chat, prayer and Bible teaching for everyday life.
Sundays, 4.15 – 5.45 p.m. during term time.
This group aims to support young people and students (6th form – 25ish) to be “rooted and built up in Christ” (Colossians 2:6-7).
For more information, please contact Rachel deJong (07933 681711).
We warmly welcome students at Wycliffe. Each Sunday in term time, lunch is provided, usually with a family, or twice a term at the church. You will be welcome to join us for lunch from the third Sunday of September until the end of the academic year.
